Azature, also known at the "Black Diamond King" (you learn something new every day!) was selected as a featured designer in GenArt's Fresh Faces in Fashion in 2008. These days, Rihanna, Fergie and Beyoncé are wearing his jewelry. Not too shabby.
As any Rick Owens woman can tell you, there is beauty in the dark and savage. Neither attribute is often found in jewelry, but in our increasingly industrial world, the era of crystal posies and diamond dragonfly clips may be, if not over, at least slightly waning.
